Pruning, Refining, and Replacing | The Dynamics of Humanity Improvement

The relevance of valuing and honoring the many things we have in common as human beings, is a big underlying piece of what these pages project. The benefits of said value and honor have been spoken about lightly in other readings on these pages.

Re-visiting the topic of human commonalities and the benefits of appreciating it, is always helpful. However, since humanity is so ripe and ready for improvements and betterment it is good for each of us to realize and embrace the dynamics of what is happening within the bowels of humanity in order to help materialize the kind of world harvest we want to enjoy.

Pressing moisturizer into my feet the other day, summoned yet more awareness about us [humans] and our shared stuff -our shared ways. Such awareness brightens the moment every single time it occurs. Lingering in that moment, these notable words popped up: Delicate. Fragile. Strong. Powerful. Resilient.

Yet sitting there thinking about my feet and yours, my hands and yours, the skeletal system over which our flesh is draped, and the ineffable contents and creation of human flesh -the word DELICATE was dominant. The universal activity of internal and external growth pain and how they can be quite uncomfortable -also popped up.

Then the imagery of a skillful potter working with the delicacy of clay served up reminders about the dynamics of humanity improvement: pruning, refining, and replacing.

Indeed, humans have shared stuff and shared ways. And most of it is good. Right, most of it. Not all of it. Which means there is a portion of not-so-good stuff and not-so-good shared ways in our midst. And that portion is ofcourse where the dynamics of pruning, refining, and replacing are increasingly being called to task in the wake of much wanted “humanity improvement”.

As the human kingdom continues evolving into the sweet embrace of acknowledging what gets pruned and refined...is us, we shall increasingly realize the benefits of what THE GREAT POTTER, THE CREATOR OF ALL THAT IS -is doing.  Likewise it shall be as we continue leaning into the sweet embrace of acknowledging what gets replaced...is that fertile portion of not-so-good stuff and not-so-good ways within our species.

World Improvement is synonymous with Humanity Improvement. Pruning, refining, and replacing stuff [within us] is par for the course regarding such improvement. And it’s all good because it is all for our greater good. All of it is good because after the pruning comes the beauty of the abundant harvest we want, the priceless pearls of greater knowing, and the refreshment of newness oozing betterment for everyone.
